Art

Well I have been away from here for a while.
Alot has happened over the last few months.
But I am starting to get back on my feet.
One thing that has happened and that has been a really big blessing is my art.
I have always had a sketch book and made things.
But over the last few months I have been using ink and
other forms of media and making some very unique canvases
I have a new Facebook page you can check it out Spirit Ink
There you can look at more of the art.

(breath of life)

ps - If you are interested in buying any pieces or having a custom piece made you can contact me here or inbox me on my FB Spirit Ink page.

Love me anyway.

So its been a rough week and a half to say the least.
I have been shown love and compassion by some amazing people.
Who despite my shortcomings love me anyway.
Despite my needing lots of reassurance right now love me anyway.
I have a hard time believing that I am worthy of that love.
 That I am lovable.
But they stick by me anyway...
with a hand to hold
a shoulder to cry on and with,
 a bed to sleep in
 and an ear to listen,
they love me anyway.
Right now for myself life is kinda a blur.
I am living moment to moment.
Some moments are okay others are almost un bearable.
But knowing that I am being loved anyway is ...
right now the only thing I am holding on to.
I know in my head that God loves me.
But right now he seems so far away.
Right now I want to yell at him and blame him.
Right now I am not able to seek him.
Right now those people who are loving me through this are seeking him for me.
I hope I am at the place soon where I can feel him again.
Where I can seek him again.
But right now I am just not there.
Right now I am thankful for those who "Love me Anyway".

Psalm 139:13-18

"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!  Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book.  Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them;  they outnumber the grains of sand. And when I wake up, you are still with me!"  Psalm 139:13-18

Music

 Having a rough time latley.
Music always seems to help me the most.
I heard this song today.
It pretty much sums up how I have been feeling.

Stay With Me
By Barlow Girl

Hopeless, getting through this night
And life is not dying in this fight
I'm begging you to deliver me ooh ooh ooh
Confused why you won't take this pain from me

My steps never felt so hard
The end never look so far but
If you won't take me out
Then please take me through this

Stay with me so I won't leave
And make me see that this is not forever
'Cause all I need is your love pulling me

What is the reason for this night
Is hope found in fullness with no light
Does strength grow in our greatest fears
God I pray something good will come from this pain

With you here I know
I don't go alone
I am yours and so
Through the fire I'll go

Fat Tuesday....

Fat Tuesday.
I dont know about you but I would feel much better if we could
be politically correct.
How about calling it Chubby Tuesday,
Fluffy, chunky,
Pleasantly plump Tuesday.
All of those options would sound great!

Back and in the groove!!

Life style change in full swing.
Feeling so much more energetic!
Ready to be the new me NOW!!!!
But willing to take the time to do this right.
I am already down over 10lbs and that was my goal for JAN.
To say I am excited ... well that would be an understatement!
My goal in this is to be healthy.
To inspire others to do the same...and to show
women that no matter what there shape or size that they
can do this. (if I can....ANYONE can!)
I am going to once again keep a picture log of this journey.
(that really started last summer when I found out that I have celiac disease)
